Things I Adore
Strategic Marketing and Website Advice
We met Things I Adore as part of the work we do with the London Youth Support Trust (LYST).
LYST asked Fivespoons to run a programme of digital marketing skills workshops for their businesses. The workshops are focused on helping the businesses make the most of the opportunities that digital marketing provides.
Things I Adore is an online bridal shop with a difference. They offer bespoke dresses that their customers can customise to make their own, whilst not having to pay expensive prices that you normally associate with buying the most important dress you will ever buy. Their dresses are priced under £500.
Jessica Acheampong, the founder of Things I Adore, had designed her own website and orher marketing activity, but it wasnlt uite working for her. We spent time understanding how she currently works and what her future ambitions were for the business. We spent a lot of time talking about customer and user experience and provided an action plan for Jessica to update her website, as well as some other activity.
Jessica took the advice on board and immediately made the changes. She now has a website she is proud of and a real passion to grow her business, as well as a business idea that we think is fantastic and has a real chance of becoming something big.
Jessica was pleased that she got the opportunity to talk to us:
“Running your own business is hard, and so to have the opportunity to speak with experts as part of the London Youth Support Trust’s Digital Marketing Skills Programme was fantastic. The strategic advice and ideas provided by Fivespoons will certainly help me grow Things I Adore and I feel energised by what we discussed - and even more convinced I can create something very special. I would not hesitate in recommending them to any other organisation.”
